A biflavonoid, abiesin, n -triacontanol, beta-sitosterol and betuloside are present in the leaves.
The essential oil from leaves contains alpha-pinene, l-limonene, deltacarene, dipentene, l-bornyl acetate and l-cardinene as major constituents.
